Position Overview
Autodesk Fusion 360 is design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing software, all-in-one. It enables our customers to connect their entire product development process into one cloud-based software with integrated 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB. You will join our Fusion 360 Design team to deliver performant 3D CAD capabilities to our customers, enabling them to design and make many of the products we see and interact with daily.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Principal software engineer to join our team. The Fusion Performance Team provides all the Performance support to the whole Fusion application. We ask that you to contribute as primary developer in implementing software related to performance. We can bring impact to the whole Fusion engineer team in terms of quality and efficiency. Anyone who is willing to face tech challenges can contact us directly. You will report to Engineering Manager. We will support hybrid workplace type. You will work from Pune location
Responsibilities
Develop solution for Complex Problem by building high-quality, secure, stable code
Ensure new/existing code conforms to established coding standards and architectural practices
Ensure new code follows best security practices
Maintain, troubleshoot and debug code
Test newly developed features to ensure they are functioning properly
Document new code and features developed, including changes to existing code
Participate in daily team scrum meetings
Provide the Product Owner with any support required to facilitate their backlog refinement and management
Demonstrate product increments in sprint reviews
Participate in team retrospectives and feedback loops to improve on future iterations
Participate in sprint planning sessions
Have knowledge of software architecture tools and techniques.
Will provide architecture-aligned solutions
Should do Code/Design Inspections/Audits for the team, and across teams
Communication/ Documentation/Knowledge Sharing
Learn, Proactive and must expand the technical breadth and depth, and develop t-shaped skills
Minimum Qualifications
At least 8-10 years hands-on programming experience with computer programming
Outstanding programming, debugging ,logical-solving skills
Solid working experience with C++ along with CAD development background
Education: Candidates of BS OR MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CAD software usage or development is a plus
Experience with developing large desktop applications in a modular, componentized manner
Experience with Agile methodology
Familiarity with test automation tools & strategies
