Fidelity Institutional Technology (FI) is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join a squad and work on emerging Managed & Advisory suite of applications. Your role as a Software Engineer within the team is to produce high-quality, testable, and reliably deployed code for sophisticated products and components. We want you to be motivated by having the autonomy to build and craft extraordinary solutions among a robust engineering team that will support your growth and development.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related field10+ years of experience developing Java and messaging based applications.Experience in Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, AzureExperience on CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, Stash)Experience in Spring and Spring BootExcellent understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)Strong understanding in the design and development of REST API and Implementing MicroservicesExperience with UI technologies (Angular, Javascript or other UI framework) is a plusLearn and Adopt new Concepts & Technologies quickly.Proven Technical leadership and mentoring experience.Self-starter and MotivatedStrong experience as a Technical Lead, leading team of developers.Experience in designing complex systems.Strong understanding of design patterns and software architecture and be able to whiteboard thoughts and interactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong team player and ready to work with diverse workforce.Strong Interpersonal Communications skill.
