About Principal Researcher for e-beam applications

  Introduction to the job

  Principal Researcher for e-beam application, will play a key role in define the research direction and strategy of future systems and technology development from application point of view based on future device. Enable new application features to meet inspection and metrology requirement of customer.

  This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

  Role and responsibilities

  Define the research direction and strategy for future technologies development to meet R&D and High-volume manufacturing requirements from customers. link the technology development to customer's future device node.Understood and monitor customer requirement for system/tool including applications, process flow, performance and cost. Convert customer requirement to key application requirement of N+1/N+2 generation system development.Define and develop key applications feature and functionality of future generation system.Provide technical and application support to existing product and system under development process.Education and experience

  Master with 10+ years of relevant work experience.

  Minimum qualifications- the hired candidate must possess all of the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for the position including:

  10+ of Years of relevant experiencePhysics, Applied physics, electrical engineering or material science background5+ years' experience on marketing, customer communication and customer management3+ years' experience on wafer process / litho processKnowledge of customer device design and validation and verification flow /processKnowledge/hands-on experience with e-beam inspection/metrology productStrong English communication skills - both written and oral, ability to influence, etc.Project management skill are preferred.Skills

  •Responsibilities:

  •Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  •May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs - specify percentage of travel.

  Responsibilities

  Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Can work under deadlines.The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
