Northrop Grumman Navigation, Targeting and Survivability Division has an opening for a Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in the Rolling Meadows, Illinois Win Center. The selected candidate will work closely with the Win Center Leadership to meet the goals and objectives of the NT&S organization.
Essential Functions:
Support the Proposal Manager in development of efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from customers
Assist proposal efforts to deliver compliant, highly scorable deliverables in response to solicitations.
Provide support to the proposal team by developing, reviewing, and submitting proposals that effectively represent the proposal strategy
Work with the Capture and Proposal Manager and core team to develop the compliant proposal deliverables.
Support Division proposal process, templates and tool development
Salesforce Administration
Respond to requests for Salesforce licenses in an appropriate and timely manner.
Training Division Salesforce users
Supporting Division users with Account, Contact, Event and Opportunity creation or modification
Ensuring data integrity for their Division
Supporting Division users with data imports using Data Loader and Import Wizard, or a third party application
Creating reports and dashboards for their Division
Participating in Sector /Community of Practice/Enterprise Salesforce groups
Build and execute marketing and communications plans to support the Salesforce licensees in NT&S.
Support the Strategy and Mission Solutions team's reports to the division, sector and enterprise Management Team on the status of all major opportunities and the status toward achieving the awards plan.
Create and manage greater proposal support tools (i.e. Win Center on Demand)
Basic Qualifications for Principal Proposal Analyst:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in Pricing & Estimating, Proposal Management, Business Management, Subcontracts, and/or Contract Management, or a Master's degree with 4 years of stated experience
Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present concepts and recommendations to all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems and convert complex data to actionable information. Detail oriented, but able to understand the big picture.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Qualifications:
DoD contracting experience (e.g. FAR and DFARS government regulations)
Knowledge and understanding of labor/material estimating, proposal analysis, and proposal adequacy as prescribed in DFARS
Proficient in Salesforce, SAP, Cognos, Jira and Tableau
Salary Range: $84,600 - $127,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
