Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Responsibilities
Serve as a Principal Project Manager for the Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (DNN) Project within the Global Security Directorate. This position will have key responsibilities to managing medium projects ($5-20M TPC) through the project lifecycle; communicate technically; and translate project requirements into project execution documents.
Key Responsibilities
Manage medium projects ($5-20M TPC). Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire lifecycle (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing).
Manage projects in accordance with established company procedures that control project management including project management best practices and processes, planning, phase gate reviews, estimating, schedule development, work authorization, monitoring project performance, controlling the project baseline, EVMS reporting, and change control.
Establishes specific customer satisfaction standards.
Proactively develops and implement strategies to mitigate risk.
Use and document cost-benefit analysis in decision-making.
Effectively uses communication skills in executing project management responsibilities.
Uses MSTS project management processes, techniques, and tools.
Meets customer needs while providing realistic expectations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience plus at least 8 years’ related professional experience, which included at least 4 years’ as a designated Project Manager.
