As a CO+I Principal Program Manager, Manager - Data Center High Performance Computing, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities
Lead a team of highly qualified HPC (High Performance Computing) subject matter experts.
Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values . Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.
Support programs that enable the transition of Data Center Break/Fix tasks from Vendor to FTE-supported roles.
Provide oversight of the headcount growth for specified High Powered Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) deployments.
Develop and implement strategies working with the Datacenter Operations (DC Ops) Break/Fix Team for the training on the skill sets required to execute tasks required to support HPC cluster Break/Fix operations.
Actively work with Datacenter Integration Services (DCIS) on the roadmap for HPC deployments requiring Microsoft FTE and key vendor support.
Provide leadership and direction in establishing Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Fiber Infrastructure management roadmaps, staffing efficiencies, process improvements, and governance for DC Ops strategy that will support our current and future growth.
Manage the portfolio of High-Performance SKU deliveries.
Work with our financial partners on the growth budget that drives Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) requirements to support a variety of tasks associated with HPC platforms.
Collaborate with partners to assess long range plans, determine capacity, and resource plans for both project delivery and ongoing operational support.
Support a strategic vision and implementation plan for regional data center operations that will position the organization for future capacity and growth.
Drive service delivery excellence through benchmarking across industry best practices.
Foster an understanding of the various stakeholders, their interests and needs to ensure the teams can sustain and embrace the changes through clear communications, engagement, and appropriate governance throughout the implementation of the various operational excellence programs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent AND 10+ years experience of mission-critical service management (e.g., providing IT services, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, military, or managing physical operations in an IT and/or critical environment infrastructure).
5+ years experience leading, directly managing, and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees across multiple disciplines and platforms.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience working with High Performance Computing systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
7+ years enterprise-level experience managing large scale and complex projects/programs
Experience building large and geographically disperse infrastructure supporting business critical services.
Experience creating road maps for large projects and delivering to road map capabilities.
Experience with reporting and data analysis systems & platforms (e.g., PerformanceBI).
Practical knowledge of ITIL concepts and terminology – with focus on Change, Incident, Problem, and Service Delivery Management functions.
Ability to collaborate, openly communicate, present, and negotiate effectively across groups of various levels and disciplines, such as senior company leaders, engineers, suppliers, partners, government entities, technicians, customers, etc.
Data Center Operations Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,800 - $267,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,000 - $294,000 per year.
