Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Level 3 Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will provide cost support for program activities within our Aeronautics Sector. This position will be located on site in Melbourne, FL .
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systemPerforming analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parametersPreparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysisPreparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduledMonitoring funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projectionsMonthly material and subcontract financial forecastingIncorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselinesPerforming miscellaneous financial analysis including monthly financial reporting/forecasting and monthly EACsContinually assessing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 5 years professional work experience - OR - Master's Degree and 3 years professional work experience - OR - High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of professional work experience in lieu of a degreeMicrosoft Office experience, including MS Excel, will be needed for the roleKnowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)Financial or accounting experienceActive DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain Special Program Access prior to start Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP, Deltek Cobra/MPMDepartment of Defense (DoD) experienceActive DoD Secret ClearanceAerospace, Space, or Defense industry experience on a production contractAbility to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlinesAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem solving and organizational skills We offer flexible work arrangements, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
