Job Description
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities
Oracle is looking for a Technical Product Manager for our 5G network functions portfolio.
Primary responsibilities include:
Specifying technical requirements and working with development teams to translate requirements into features.
Collaborate with the Product Line Management to define product vision and roadmap.
Support customer engagements and lead technical discussions with Mobile Network Operators and Service Providers all around the world.
Key Knowledge Areas:
In depth knowledge of 5G/4G Signaling Core , Policy & Charging, SDM components.
Emerging 5G Service Based Architecture as defined by 3GPP
Knowledge of 5G/4G protocols and call flows
Cloud Native technologies and Container based deployment models
NFV, Automation and Orchestration
Summary of Qualifications:
Good to have 8-12 years of experience working in mobile signaling associated with 5G/4G network functions such as PCF/PCRF, NRF, SCP, AMF/MME, NSSF, CHF, SMF/PGW, SEPP/DSR/DEA, UDR/UDM etc.
2 years of experience in Cloud Native technologies, Container networking and Container based deployment models is preferable.
Experience in defining software product requirements for engineering organizations is required.
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
