We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager Technical (PMT) who is innovative, passionate, and customer-focused, and is willing to “get hands dirty” in a start-up environment while being able to optimize delivery against both short and long term goals.
Key job responsibilities
Create a product vision, and strategy for internal and external customers
Engage with customers through a variety of channels and serve as the voice of the customer internally
Engage broadly across AWS services and account teams to drive improvements in providing trusted guidance to customers to optimize their AWS workloads
Define product roadmaps to achieve business goals, which includes providing customers the managed dashboards for insights and opportunities to optimize
Work with business stakeholders and tech teams to define needs, build solutions, and measure results
Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and measure the success of the product features
Provide effective written and verbal updates on the products and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders
A day in the life
Work closely with AWS service teams, AWS account teams, and Kumo engineering teams to deliver key initiatives to help AWS customers optimize their workloads and to accomplish their outcomes
Align senior leaders across AWS to automate manual communication processes by highlighting customer value, and metrics
Collaborate with the UX team for user research and wireframing
Engage with partner teams to work backwards from customers and deliver crisp documents
Drive AWS-wide programs to improve speed and quality of our best practice guidance shared with AWS customers

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Preferred Qualifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
