  "The Principal Product Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of the product line and showcasing product competencies. Their main objective is to comprehend the workflow challenges and evolving market needs of Corporate clients. They will leverage their innovation skills to deliver intelligent, flexible, and user-friendly solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.The Manager will act as a representative for the Corporates Business Unit within the organization and the market. This involves communicating the achievements of their work, engaging with clients on a regular basis, and fostering a continuous culture of innovative thinking to address valuable problems. They will also oversee monthly and quarterly product and strategy reviews and maintain involvement in the daily operations of the Corporates Business Unit. The Corporates Business Unit is seeking a Principal Product Manager to focus on Investor Relations (IR) client workflows. The primary objective of this role is to gain a deep understanding of IR workflow challenges and evolving market conditions. The successful candidate will drive innovation in order to provide clients with intelligent, flexible, and user-friendly solutions that optimize efficiency and productivity.RESPONSIBILITIES:Delivery of Business Value: Oversee the customer value delivery of products and enhancements within the Investor Relations product line that align with client needs and FactSet strategy.Accountable for the outcomes of the product developmentAccountable for delivering financial and operational goals for the product lineFacilitate approaches that value hypothesizing, experimentation, validation and iteration based on user feedbackValidate product business case development (investment needs, resourcing, KPIs) and monitor financial goals, including ASV, as well as adoption and retention goals.Align with, collaborate and influence other Managers (e.g. Engineering, Design, Marketing) to deliver on the product goalsStrategic Impact to Maximize Outcomes: Regularly engage with clients to gain first-hand insight and market feedback. Proactively iterate on strategy, roadmap, and processes to maximize outcomes for the teams and the company Represent the business and promote the product by advocating for its value and benefits at executive briefings, marketing events, conferences, etc. Shift investment away from diminishing returns and toward more impactful outcomes. Develop the overall product line strategy and roadmap, in alignment with Firm Type strategic priorities and with the overall Business Unit goals Drive prioritization and funding for product with internal leadersREQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in STEM, finance, economics, business, or other relevant field, or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in working with Investor Relations Possesses and models a product mindset. Starts from problems, goals and needs - not a list of projects and features Ability to collaborate with and influence other Managers (product, engineering, marketing, design, etc.) to achieve product and business goals Ability to synthesize data and metrics to inform decisions NICE TO HAVE:Prior experience in product management is a desirable, but not requiredAbility to work as part of a global, distributed organizationExperience using JIRA or other agile development toolsCOMPETENCIES: Insights: Is visible in the marketplace, attending industry conferences and events and may speak on panels. Engages with users and prospects to continuously discover challenges and opportunities. Fosters a data culture within the team. Strategy: Pushes teams to define product strategies that create competitive advantage and innovation, not just incremental gains. Execution: Sees constraints as flexible and suggests ways to surmount them with creative use or redeployment of resources Leadership and Inclusion: Identifies ways to improve collaboration across departments. Plans ahead and addresses problems proactively.
