Amazon Connections is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Principal Product Manager to own and drive Connections daily question mechanism, Connections Pulse. As a Principal Product Manager, you will work across Amazon’s many global businesses, partnering closely with science teams, to deliver impact to businesses that rely on the Connections Pulse program and services. You will own delivering an end to end strategy for Connections Pulse based on impact and work with customers and scientists to deliver a global content strategy.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap based on business impact, science requirements, customer research and product utilization
Work with stakeholders and customers to build solutions that uniquely solve business problems while reducing the complexity of Amazon scale
Understand the business customers across Amazon and their needs, combine that with research creating a detailed strategy for leveraging Connections Pulse to drive their businesses
Make hard, high-judgment trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market, while mitigating risks
Align many large global customers and teams towards coherent product features and strategies
Build the case for investments and demonstrate frugality by adeptly prioritizing the right initiatives to achieve the greatest impact
A successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the business and be able to deliver a product experience that delivers measurable value year over year.
Finally – must have an interest and passion around the employee experience, improving the workplace, and driving internal change that enables employees to deliver for customers more effectively. This is a role for someone who wants to bring their product and technical expertise to a space with lots of opportunity for innovation.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience as a product manager or owner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
