  The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digital migration for many critical services. Those services require a trusted identity to safeguard against fraud and help ensure people are who they claim to be. With ID.me, login and identity credentials move with people, which can reduce the time and frustration of having to verify at multiple sites and set up multiple passwords.

Role Overview

  ID.me is seeking a results-driven Principal, Product Strategy and Operations, to join our fast-paced growing Product team. Reporting into Product Operations this role will lead projecting the value derived from the Wallet Product roadmap as well as overall product performance. In order to be successful in these objectives, the role will act as in coordination with FP&A, Product, Data Team, and other functional teams to measure and track the financial benefits associated with Product changes. The ideal candidate will be able to apply modeling to ambiguous situations, have great  attention to detail, and will enjoy rolling up their sleeves and being part of an innovative culture where they can make something better everyday. 

  

Responsibilities:

  Partnering on and recommending product strategies based on internal business analytics, operational insights, and market trends

  Creating and maintaining a holistic operational and financial model of existing and future state product flow(s) which is directly tied to the P&L in coordination with FP&A 

  Modeling the financial and operational impact of specific product and component vendor changes within the Product in coordination with Product Managers and other relevant functions including Procurement.

  Conducting research on market trends and internal business analytics to incorporate into projections and recommendations

  Setting up dashboards and KPIs for tracking the operational and financial impact of Product changes in coordination with the Data & Analytics Team

  Projecting unit economics based on activity-based costing for various product flows in concert with FP&A and linking to pricing strategy for new and existing products   

  Assisting the SVP of Product, Wallet with prioritization of Product roadmap items based on financial and operational impact modeling   

   

  

Ideal Qualifications (The qualifications below are ideal, but not all are required.  We encourage candidates to apply if they satisfy some, but not all of the qualifications).

  5+ years of experience at a top Management Consulting firm developing operational models for specific product / process flows (especially for SaaS / technology companies)   

  Excellent Microsoft Excel financial and operational modeling skills 

  Experience with Tableau and / or Looker for data visualization 

  Ability to add modeling structure to areas of ambiguity and tie financial outcomes to process changes  

  Ability to analyze unit economics to make pricing decisions

  Ability to use various query languages to pull, organize, and synthesize large data sets 

  Ability to multi-task and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment  

  Strong project management skills / ability to scope large projects and drive them to completion  

  Track record of working cross-functionally to socialize changes, collect feedback, and perform change management to drive process and product improvements

  The annual base salary listed below for this role is based on experience, skills, education, relevant training and geographic location. Company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, and benefits are available depending on the role.

  The above represents the anticipated total rewards package for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on qualifications, professional experiences, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location, and other job related factors.

  Pay Range

  $205,000—$236,400 USD
