We are looking for a talented Principal IT Business Analyst - Warranty to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Partners with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements and priorities for information systems and solutions; works with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the information systems. Leads the effort, in conjunction with the business to define and document what constitutes business success for large or complex initiatives within a single organization. May work as part of a team on project definition and documentation for initiatives that cross organizations. Leads a group of analysts to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location), as appropriate for the complex initiative. Elicits, analyzes, and documents non-functional business requirements Leads and conducts requirements management activities, as necessary. Seeks out and analyzes information regarding the impact of changes within an organization or between organizations, ensuring that the effects of changes are well understood and approved by all of the appropriate stakeholders. Leads and conducts solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization or across organizations Reviews test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participates in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements within the organization or across organizations Conducts complex problem analysis and resolution as needed. Acts as a point of escalation for complex, non-routine problems. Develops and maintains positive relationships with both business leaders and other functions involved in downstream technical processes Coaches and mentors less experienced business analysts Qualifications

Solution Design - Creates and defines the solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models and documentation in order to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements. Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements. Problem Solving - Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence. Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. Balances stakeholders - Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Organizational savvy - Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics. Education, Licenses, Certifications College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Significant relevant experience required -- 5-7 years of experience. Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $97,600-$146,400. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
