　　Understand the user journey and user funnelCollaborate with product, design and engineering to influence product strategy and directionYou will guide the technical direction and implementation of large-scale product featuresEvaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance and customer impact to ensure we build the right solutionDebug inefficiencies on the team and fix themShip well-tested, secure, reliable, and maintainable code while keeping our customers best interests in mindContribute to code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with security, performance and reliability in mindMentor and level up the skills of your teammates by sharing your expertiseImprove the growth engineering team through mentoringIdentify blockers to ensure software engineering excellence (design principles and patterns, unit testing, performance engineering, best practices for security and privacy)

　　Qualifications

　　Your background:

　　10+ years of experience designing/building enterprise-grade solutions using microservicesBackground in Java, Kotlin, Observability tools, and service operationsIn-depth knowledge of AWS offeringsExperience building distributed systems for a SaaS productPassion and experience with recognizing, raising, and reconciling gaps and redundant efforts across organizationsSuccess with cross-company collaborationExperience influencing and performance coaching engineers

　　Compensation

　　At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

　　Zone A: $205,800 - $274,400

　　Zone B: $185,200 - $246,900

　　Zone C: $170,800- $227,700

　　This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
