About Intel Foundry Services (IFS):
As an integral part of Intel’s new IDM 2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, stand-alone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US- and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. IFS will be differentiated from other foundries with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe, and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from, including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P&L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers’ products receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement, and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings. We are expanding at a torrid pace to include our most advanced technologies, which are ideal for high-performance applications.
About the Role:
The Principal Engineers and Senior Principal Engineers of IFS MAG (Military, Aerospace and Government) Technical Solution Group will represent Intel Foundry Services to work with technical leadership across US government and defense industry bases (DIB). They must have deep technical knowledge and ability to communicate Intel’s IFS technology roadmap and products; and how they interact with, enhance and help create sustainable and scalable system foundry solutions to national security and government through deep partnerships and collaborations. This technical leader must possess excellent verbal and written communication with ability to translate complex technology to match audience awareness and needs. They must demonstrate the extensive experience of leading technical problem solving, driving critical technical program and providing innovative solutions to critical challenges in close partnership with various US Government agencies and DIBs. They are expected to be agile and flexible, to support government initiatives and create/implement government partnership plans to influence future funding for Intel and our MAG customers/partners to support more design wins on Intel Foundry. They need to develop and sustain strong relationships with key technical leaders and decision makers in both US government and DIB partners to excel in execution to meet and exceed expectation and become trusted partners who can role model IFS and in turn influence policies, technology decisions and funding plans. This is a highly cross functional role that requires proven deep technology expertise, exquisite partnership skills, ability to scale through others, mental agility and flexibility, and a willingness to adapt in customer first spirit while still leading with conviction on behalf of IFS for Intel.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical solution architect to support USG and DIBs in close partnership and collaboration with US government and DIBs, with proven extensive experience in leading analog integrated circuit design and analysis on modern CMOS process technology nodes through classified DIB and USG projects, working knowledge of tool flow methodologies through RTL-to-GDSII, in-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary cross-layer power-performance-area and SWaP-C optimizations.
Bridging the technology understanding of USG/DIB decision makers and Intel’s roadmap for long term sustained partnership
Reliable, ethical, highly motivated technical leader
Identify and communicate potential public sector opportunities and threats, develop technical solutions with the USG/DIB partners for improvement or mitigation strategies.
Support Intel public sector sales and federal teams to drive and coordinate external advocacy efforts, outreach programs and key initiatives in concert with Intel business objectives.
Facilitate high-level meetings between Intel leadership and key partners, including US decision makers and DIB tech executives, industry associations, and alliance partners to promote and advocate for the company’s technical leadership and solutions.
Work collaboratively with Intel internal teams to ensure alignment and mutual support with the best of the rest of Intel.

Successful track record of collaborating across organizational lines of various engineering teams in addition to problem solving in ambiguous and never before seen business/customer situations.
Successful track record of leading/influencing teams, task forces and engaging with executive management with an ability to synthesize technical details and translate into field, customer and business value.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work independently and identify technical and business goals that will successfully grow unit, revenue and profitability goals.
Listens deeply to customers, translating future requirements into strategic product requirements that direct Intel's critical engineering and innovation priorities.
Established record of success in partnering with USG and DIBs in managing engineering projects in the area related to national security
Proven leadership experience in building high-performance teams with strong customer orientation and result-orientation.
Actively role models IFS leadership principles prioritizing serving customers, driving an "ownership" mindset, bringing clarity and leading through ambiguity.

Qualifications
MS or PhD in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or any related field of study and 15+ years of relevant experience.
10+ years of experience in leading technologist role in developing mission critical analog circuit and systems on modern CMOS process nodes in high-impact, multidisciplinary, research/industry and government teams, solving complex technical problems involving multiple technical domains working with USG/DIBs in areas associated with national security.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Security Clearance:
Top Secret (TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Washington: $186,760.00-$299,166.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
