Provide technical advice and proactive counsel to management on complex regulatory issues. Identify the need for and initiate the development of new policies, programs, plans, and procedures to meet strategic objectives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university and eight years of engineering experience in a technical environment, including two or more years of experience in licensing and regulatory processes. OR a PE license obtained by accredited examination and eight years of engineering experience in a technical environment, including two or more years of experience in licensing and regulatory processes. A high school diploma or GED is required. Nuclear experience is a plus. Requires advanced knowledge of NRC licensing and regulatory processes. Requires general knowledge of nuclear facility plant systems and operations, applicable to regulatory requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, external clients, and offsite agencies. Ability to manage multiple projects, programs, and issues concurrently. Ability to effectively plan and organize complex projects with changing priorities. Ability to maintain control of delegated assignments through tracking, trending, monitoring, and reporting progress. An electrical background is needed.Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
