Amazon's Corporate Development Integration team is hiring for a seasoned business leader to lead acquisition due diligence and integration. The role includes working with senior business sponsors to define key value drivers for potential acquisitions, building plans and momentum in integration execution, and ensuring that we continue to raise the bar of our integration efforts.
Key job responsibilities
An ideal candidate leads acquisitions throughout the transaction lifecycle and is accountable for achieving deal value drivers. They will motivate and inspire large and diverse teams, manage multiple strategic and functional projects, identify and resolve operational and integration challenges. They will oversee and influence cross-functional diligence and integration teams to ensure all activities are completed on tight deal timelines. Typical stakeholder groups include business and technology teams, HR, Finance, Tax, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal, Information and Physical Security, Open Source, Accounting, and PR.
This role can be based in Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
The key job responsibilities include:
Lead multiple due diligence and integration planning and execution efforts for Amazon's acquisitions.
Work with executive business sponsors to define key value drivers for potential acquisitions, implement actionable plans to achieve transaction objectives.
Dive deep on strategic business and functional aspects of the transaction as well as execution tactics of integration.
Oversee and influence cross functional diligence and integration teams on initiatives both before and after the acquisition.
Define, track and communicate appropriate deal performance measurements to project stakeholders.
Domestic or International travel required up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications
Progressive roles in leading M&A integration
Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of business, corporate development, consulting, or equivalent professional experience
Business and technical acumen; ability to influence subject matter and other technical experts
Strong attention to detail, ownership, and bias for action in times of ambiguity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to customize approaches for senior executive or junior audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business
Experience across a range of deal sizes, geographies and industries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $237,900/year in our highest geographic market.
