Job Description:
Develops and manages Partner escalation and compliance program strategy and execution to ensure partner compliance with Discover policies and applicable regulations. Creates robust framework to manage assessment of non-compliance fees and uniform delivery and execution to our impacted internal and external stakeholders. Drives high-brand-risk program maturation and program development.
Responsibilities
Identifies, explores, and implements new compliance approaches and data sources to mitigate existing and emerging legal and regulatory risks.
Establishes appropriate compliance standards, includes limits and thresholds associated with escalating legal and regulatory risk across all business units.
Establishes and builds strong, effective working relationships with business partners across the enterprise; develops a full understanding of current and emerging legal and regulatory risks and provides guidance on how to mitigate risk.
Leads execution of compliance and risk findings.
Initiates, develops, and manages strategies and standards enterprise-wide.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
4+ years of experience in relevant financial services industry
In lieu of degree, 8+ years of relevant financial services experience
Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering (ACAMS)
8 + years payments / network compliance or related experience working with acquirers, merchants, and other network participants.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
