Job Summary:
The Principal Architect is responsible for co-designing customers' strategic technology architecture to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives. This role plays a critical part in shaping the technology landscape, driving innovation, and optimizing existing systems for improved efficiency and performance. The Principal Architect collaborates with various customer stakeholders to help define and maintain the technology roadmap, standards, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Be an effective Digital Experience Technology champion and Adobe Solution AdvocateBe the trusted advisor to Adobe's CxO customersStrategic Discovery: Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.Be a trusted advisor to customers in developing and maintaining the customers' technology architecture and strategy to align with business goals and objectives.System Design Advisory: Be a trusted advisor to customers in designing and reviewing the architecture of complex systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.Technology Roadmap Advisory: Be a trusted advisor to customers in creating and managing a technology roadmap that aligns with long-term business strategies and technological advancements.Innovation: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential to enhance the organization's technology landscape.Standards and Best Practices: Define and enforce technology standards, guidelines, and best practices for development, integration, and operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in information technology with a focus on architecture and design.Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.In-depth knowledge of architecture methodologies, frameworks, and tools.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and project management capabilities.Industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
