Principal Analyst, Capital Markets and Analytics - Resolution and Recovery Planning Office
Within the Capital Markets and Analytics, Resolution and Recovery Planning Office (RRPO) is a critical regulatory compliance function that requires banks to develop strategies, actions, and execution plans to recover from extreme financial stress and, in the event of a failure, to resolve the bank with minimal losses to depositors. The RRPO is responsible for managing and overseeing the resolution and recovery plan development and related processes, including coordination with business partners across all parts of the organization and major risk-management functions. We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, and analytical professional who excels in a team environment. This associate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly. They should also have experience in proactively driving work across functions.
Responsibilities:
Drive analysis, structuring, and updates for key narrative and data content in the Company's Resolution and Recovery PlansLead multiple projects by leveraging business judgment and working closely with highly specialized subject matter experts across the lines of businessAutomate and enhance Resolution Planning finance and business operations data infrastructureManage and execute ad hoc requests/inquiries from senior management and aid in bank capital and liquidity stress testingEvaluate new regulatory changes and their impact in the Resolution and Recovery Planning space, then incorporate those changes into the PlansOwnership of key Recovery and Resolution Planning control and governance artifacts to ensure alignment with industry best practices
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Operations, Reporting, Risk Management, or technology projects or a combinationAt least 2 year's experience in at least one scripting language such as Python, SQL, ect.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in FinanceMaster's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in FinanceChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) licenseWell versed in the legal and technical writingKnowledge of dataset management best practice
