In this role, a typical day will include:Utilizing a strong background in Analytical Chemistry with emphasis in Capillary electrophoresis chromatography separation.Utilizing a strong background in Analytical Chemistry with emphasis in other techniques (i.e. GC, IC, and HPLC)Write/review/approve validation protocols and technical reportsExecute analytical method development, validation and method/product transfer protocolsCollect, calculate, interpret and trend resultsWrite SOPs related to testing programs, laboratory operations and/or equipment operation.Perform nonroutine testing to support special projects.Providing expertise and guidance in interpreting governmental regulations, agency guidelines and internal policies to ensure compliance.Evaluate novel technology for laboratory/manufacturing application.Perform statistical analysis. Utilize change control systems.Represent the laboratory as the Subject Matter Expert in all major test disciplines and processes.Conduct peer review and approval of data collected by coworkers. Lead lab initiatives or programs and train analysts.Cooperate and support coworkers to enhance overall capability the organization.Lead problem solving and troubleshooting of laboratory issues and methodology.Contributes to departmental meetings; provides technical insight and presentations.Coordinate/support other departments to ensure smooth execution of work.Excellent communication both verbal and written skills concerning testing and sampling scheduling with other departments and external labs/vendors.Professional and skilled interface with auditors.Experience with digital systems in order to contribute to the digitEYES initiative.Perform and review equipment calibration and maintenance; instrument advocate and subject matter expert.Identify appropriate lab instrumentation purchases; perform qualification/validation.Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
