We are currently seeking a Pricing & Quoting Coordinator to be based in our Vaughan, Ontario location.
Job Summary
The Pricing & Quoting Coordinator generates, tracks, and communicates quoting and pricing activities for all customers. Responsibilities will include but not limited too – entering quotes into our in-house tool, approving inputs, managing quoted projects, follow up with Sales Team and Sales Agencies, and dealing with all pricing or quoting related issues. This is a 12 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Manage requests for project quotes pricing, using discretion following established pricing strategies and policies.
Enter project quotes within the in-house quoting tool.
Work collaboratively with Order Entry, Customer Services, Marketing, and the Credit Department on all quote, pricing, and product related issues.
Work collaboratively with the factories and product managers to address pricing/product related issues as needed.
Maintain all pricing within the ERP system, including identifying and rectifying issues within the pricing database.
Be responsive and attentive to both external and internal Customer needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with existing procedures related to quote approval or pricing.
Provide support with reporting & process improvements
Other responsibilities as needed
Your Education and Experience
Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
2+ years’ experience in customer service and/or a similar role and building materials industry an asset.
MS Word, PowerPoint, but specifically MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
ERP (JD Edwards, EDI, or Oracle-based) knowledge would be an asset.
Your Key Competencies
Experience negotiating project pricing with field sales teams a plus.
Good technical acumen; ability to learn and understand products, experience with technical products, catalogues, and price books.
Must be a result driven, self-starter, focused on providing value to the business.
Ability to multi-task and remain organized in an extremely fast paced hands-on environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Highly professional with the ability to interface with individuals at all levels.
Detail oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
