　　Pricing Analyst III, Fisher Scientific, Ottawa, Canada

　　Position Summary:

　　The Pricing Analyst supports Pricing Operations group in meeting complex customer pricing requirements and profitability improvements through conducting pricing analysis and problem solving.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Provide analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives that include setting list prices, determine customer specific discounts, and identify product conversion opportunities.Import data from a variety of sources into a SQL Server database: retrieve, consolidate, analyze and summarize data from very large data sets using SQLValidate and analyze data, sign-off on data integrity. Join data from multiple tables within a databaseProvide Commercial team with pricing guidance and pricing tool support.Perform ad hoc data analysis for business units, customer, products, and vendors.Assists team in determining optimized customer pricing.Develop tools in SQL and excel to help businesses set strategic prices in the market, implement pricing improvement programs, and track financial impact.Perform analysis and prepare executive-level reports of findings.Support the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that enhance existing performance.

　　Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

　　High attention to detail and strong organizational skills are vital. Logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify data relationships is necessary in this role. Proficient written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are important as well. The Pricing Analyst III must be able to manage tasks independently and prioritize deliverables based on changing business needs and deadlines.

　　Bachelor's degree in business/Finance/Commerce/Mathematics/Engineering/IT/Comp Science or related field. Experience with pricing, currency and /or familiarity with the Canadian marketExcellent analytical capabilities including EXCEL and relational database skillsExpertise with database queries and large data setsStrong programming skills - SQL an asset.
