C.H. Robinson is seeking a Pricing Analyst to play a pivotal role in managing pre-bid, bid, and post-bid activities. As a Pricing Analyst you'll coordinate complex pricing requests, review bid materials, and ensue accurate bid submissions. Your role will involve collaborating with teams and colleagues across South America, providing troubleshooting support, and leveraging technology to drive work. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage the incoming work queue, overseeing the opportunity vetting board, addressing network troubleshooting requests, and responding to additional email inquiries
Coordinate and respond to complex daily pricing requests for new and existing customers
Leverage your familiarity with a range of available pricing tools to assist commercial teams in choosing the most suitable options Review bid materials to grasp requirements affecting pricing guidance and communicate pertinent pricing details to TPMs and commercial teams to facilitate effective strategy calls.
Identify situations requiring involvement of additional pricing teams and communicate accordingly
Perform site administration for specific websites, collaborating with commercial stakeholders for document downloads
Ensure quality assurance of submitted bid rates, award verification, and final rate uploads to the Bid Ecosystem
Assist commercial teams in interpreting award management reporting (PowerBi) to ensure accurate reflection of awards
Work with TPMs, owning offices, Deal Desk/Solution Design teams, and data science to develop strategic pricing approaches
Provide troubleshooting and solutions for pricing and tool-related issues
Collaborate with key business stakeholders and the branch network to gather insights into customer and account team expectations regarding pricing and awards
Engage with management and teams across the network to improve processes, develop tools, and identify best practices leading to improved win ratios
Support the professional development of pricing team members
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and high school diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years previous experience in operations, customer service, and/or pricing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs, specifically Excel mastery
Bilingual with English and Spanish fluency
Preferred:
Commercial experience within C.H. Robinson and/or external logistical experience
Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner within the network
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven prioritization, time management, and accuracy skills
Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to prioritize tasks between daily responsibilities
Bilingual with English and Spanish fluency
