*The Headlines: *
In the role of Press Area Specialist working in Golden, CO, you will be part of the Rocky Mountain Metal Container team. The MillerCoors Can Manufacturing Plant is the largest single aluminum can manufacturing plant in the world, producing approximately 4 billion cans per year.
This position reports to the Line Lead.
The Responsibilities:
Contributes to achievement of safety, health and environmental goals and standards by understanding and complying with all legally required standards, company policies and departmental policies.
Contributes to accident prevention, elimination of industrial health risks and avoidance of legal violations by leading by example and making safety practices the number one priority.
Coordinate and perform the setup, operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of all generations of equipment in assigned area.
Supports Maintenance by providing resources in the form of manpower and/or technical expertise during scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdowns.
Coordinate and on-line rebuilds and machine upgrades on all machines in assigned area.
Plan, prioritize and schedule preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment with Mechanical Specialists.
Contribute to the identification and correction of machine problems.
Train, coach, and certify others in machine operation and maintenance.
Provide accurate records of on-line problems for analysis, review information for trends and audit assigned line as required
Coordinate preventative maintenance of all machines and equipment in assigned area.
Maintains high visibility with team at all times in support of providing technical guidance and leadership
*The Other Qualifications: *
Must have process knowledge of can manufacturing and demonstrated exceptional level of process knowledge
High school diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Minimum 2 years in Mechanical/Industrial manufacturing or related production environment
High mechanical aptitude
