About this role:
The Wells Fargo Advisor (WFA) Premier Partnership Manager reports directly to the Head of WFA Premier channel and will serve on the Client Relationship Group (CRG) Division leader's strategic table. This individual contributor role will act as an advisor to Area Managers, Market Leaders, and Division Leaders to develop and influence initiatives that promote and advance Premier opportunities in Wells Fargo's bank branches. This role will work side-by-side with Market Leaders and Area Managers to build robust Advisor candidate pipelines and accelerate qualified Advisor hiring. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring Area Managers build strong and effective partnerships with their Consumer Bank District Manager colleagues to drive consistent Premier routines and outcomes.
In this role, you will:Provide vision, direction, and expertise to Area Managers on implementing consistent and impactful business strategies that enhance Premier objectives of (i.) hiring and retaining branch-based Advisors and (ii.) increasing Premier investment clients and balancesSupports Division and Market Leaders to identify recruiting opportunities as well as drive productivity and performance accountability across Area ManagersHelp Area Managers foster influential relationships with the Consumer Bank District Managers to effectively deliver Premier activities and growth outcomesConsults with Area Managers to deepen dedicated team relationships between Bankers and Advisors resulting in a more joint overview meetings and an integrated client experienceAttend monthly branch team reviews and Regional BURs for top priority districts and regionsSupport the proper onboarding of new-to-role Area Managers as it relates to Premier leadership routinesHelp escalate real estate issues that arise from Area Managers and AdvisorsRequired Qualifications, US:7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationSuccessfully completed Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) examSuccessfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)Desired Qualifications:Knowledge and experience in retail brokerage and affluent client marketsProven ability to design and implement strategies to grow revenueAbility to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting and building solutionsDemonstrated leadership, through influence, capability with exceptional execution skillsSuperior business leadership skills with demonstrated success in driving strong resultsProven experience in recruiting and hiring talented branch-based Financial AdvisorsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipTravel at least 40% of time to attend Division, Market and Area Manager meetings.Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this positionIn addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may applyAdditional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standardsWells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptanceFor specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be requiredCompliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatoryJob Locations:1512 Eureka Rd. This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
