The Practice Manager manages practice operations.
The Practice Manager’s home office will be in Carmel: 12174 N Meridian Street, Carmel, IN.
**The Practice Manager must be willing to travel to multiple practice locations, including Lafayette, Indianapolis, Avon, Carmel, Muncie, Kokomo, Greenfield, and Franklin. Travel includes mileage reimbursement."
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage practice operations
Serve as a liaison between medical practitioners and employees
Daily office management and supervision of employees
Develop and maintain all practice policies and procedures
Provide orientation, education, and re-education as needed for employees
Approve time and attendance for payroll
Process accounts payable
Office and medical supply management
Compliance audits
Operational reporting
New Initiative Implementation
Operational Expense Control
Address patient and office issues
Manage provider office visit templates
Assist billing department with billing and coding audits
Maintain a meeting schedule with provider and non-provider employees

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in medical practice management or clinical operations
Comfortable using MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within an Orthopedic practice setting
HR management experience
EMR experience
NextGen experience
Knowledge of current medical terminology
Revenue cycle management
Experience within an Orthopedic practice setting and/or understanding of Orthopedic practices and procedures
Experience performing medical front office tasks including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills and referrals
