A Place to Be Proud.Responsibilities* Works with representatives of all corporate areas to support PPAC operations, and DPLM faculty.* Facilitates change management/continuous performance improvement and manages major PPAC operational projects/initiatives.* Maintains and supports the relationship and performance of PPAC outside billing agency. Oversees daily clinical reporting, monthly operational meetings, and quarterly audits of CPT coding and billing.* Monitors PPAC financial activity to include revenue and expenses as well as develops annual budgets. Analyzes, monitors, and controls financial, human, and material resource allocations and reimbursements. Reports on PPAC financial position as requested.* Processes and monitors all fee schedules and trouble shoots all insurance billing, credentialing and payer issues.* Collaborates and consults with medical and hospital personnel at all levels, both internally and externally to support PPAC operations.* Coordinates recruitment and orientation of PPAC faculty and staff. Supports Chief and PPAC administrator in annual faculty performance reviews, annual incentive goals, and processes NCH compensation increases.* Coordinates and processes faculty appointments, OSU compensation, professional services contracts, and other related activities with OSU Pathology. Also supervises PPAC faculty timekeeping to include faculty with OSU appointments.Monitors all faculty research effort with the NCH Research Institute, assures accuracy of monthly reporting, and budget activity annuallyAssures programs are compliant with all accrediting bodies such as Joint Commission and CAP and the Hospital Corporate Integrity Program.Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function.
