Job Description
You will lead, coordinate, and facilitate Power BI initiatives across the five Americas markets, ensuring streamlined reporting, consistent training, design and maintenance of dashboards and establish enhanced data-driven decision-making processes. Additionally, you will serve as the project lead for Power BI dashboard developments.
Consolidation of Business Requirements for Dashboard Development & Implementation:Coordinate reporting and self-service BI requirements.Align business-focused use-cases with existing IT and Central Key User organization.Lead Power BI and Data Science initiatives/project for the whole Americas regionPrioritize and support the creation of dashboards.Identify opportunities for standardization and promote further IT development.Lead the Dashboard Alignment/Standardization Taskforce/Network, collaborating with experts across various markets and central functions.Training & Empowerment:
Provide comprehensive guidelines and interactive learning material.Foster active community engagement through platforms like Wikis (ConNext)/MS Teams.Offer guidance on general topics (e.g., VDIL) and specific Power BI issues in conjunction with CKUs (e.g., CKU MARKIS) and IT.Stakeholder Management:Foster buy-in from both management and users for standardized Power BI dashboards.Interface with IT and Data Scientist:Collaborate on developments in areas such as authorization concepts and PowerBI connections to systems like SAP BW/VDIL and DirectQuery Gateways.Be the main point of contact for the data scientist team supporting reporting initiatives across the Americas regions.Organize and participate in meetings to make key decisions concerning data security, prioritization of implementations, and cost-benefit analyses.Collaborate closely with BA, CKU, and IT Management for aligned decisions.Data-Driven Initiatives & Technology:Identify and introduce new technologies and big data strategies to enhance organizational decision-making and reporting.Prioritize and implement initiatives to identify trends, enabling actionable decisions that impact the organization's overall P&L. QualificationsEducation/ degree:Bachelor or master's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS) and/or Data Science/AnalyticsAny specific industry experience:Preferably worked prior as Data Scientist with focus on Power BI or former POWER BI specialist experienceCross functional/ working in multi-national organization/ matrix organization experience (if needed):Should have experience in virtual project management within remote teams.Experience in collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT, management, Finance/Accounting, Logistics, Sales and data science teams.Other competencies:English and Spanish or Portuguese language skills (written and spoken)Planning and Organization skillsProblem-solving skillsInnovative thinkingGood communication skillsStakeholder managementProject Management ExperienceAdaptability and continuous learningTraining & Facilitation skillsRequired: "DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Expert Level, M Language for Power Query Expert Level."Beneficial: "Basics in SQL, Python, and/or KNIME Workflow Development.Company Description
