About the Role
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated post-graduate intern with a background in next-generation sequencing to further optimize our antibody discovery technology platform in the Biologics Research Center (BRC).

Duration: 9 months
Key responsibilities:
Developing and optimizing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows for antibody discovery
• Investigate new innovative immune repertoire sequencing technologies and experimental techniques to facilitate high throughput antibody sequencing.
• Designing and executing experiments to characterize mouse B cells, including isolation, phenotypic analysis, and functional characterization.
• Utilizing techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and functional assays to evaluate antibody binding specificity, affinity, and biological activity.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of antibody discovery workflows, hybridoma generation/screening including the implementation of innovative technologies.

Role Requirements
Essential requirements:
• Recent master student with a degree in Biotechnology, Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry or similar (recently graduated within 6 month)
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Strong experience in general molecular biology & techniques (e.g. RT-PCR, PCR, cloning, sequencing).
• Experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Desirable requirements:
• Knowledge in B cell biology and antibody generation processes are of advantage.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture techniques
• Knowledge of data analysis software desired
