What to expect:
Quantitative/Qualitative risk assessment to monitor risk merchant portfolioMaintain key risk and data metrics of merchant portfolio to ensure credit and transactional processing quality in line with credit policyAssess credit risk exposure of merchants, merchant portfolio and counterparties and take actions to mitigate exposure and prevent financial lossesRepresent Credit Risk at cross-functional working groups and participate in special projects and assignmentsPartner with the wider Risk function and Commercial business units on merchant risk related issuesGeneral administrative duties to keep business updated on Credit Risk processes and proceduresFollow the Credit Risk Policy, escalate and report high risk profile merchant cases to Risk ManagementDaily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting for external and internal stakeholdersAdvise and educate Group departments on all credit risk related issuesFollow the high standards of the company in regard to quality and timeliness of responsesDuties assigned to him/her by his/her superior or company managers in accordance to position.
To be successful you need to have:
Proven experience in a Credit Risk team with an emphasis on risk related control functions within an online payments institution/commercial banking/acquiring environment an advantageAn understanding of online payment systems and comprehension of card association regulations, particularly those applicable to merchant acquiringAbility to analyze financial statements, ability to produce consistently high-quality information within tight deadlinesStrong problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical skills and ability to work independentlyStrong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines by planning and organizing appropriatelyExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent MS Office, Excel skills with SQL and BI knowledge being a strong advantageStrong English skills, both written and oral is essential
