Job Description :
The Portfolio Analytics Manager plays a key role in driving the growth of the business by influencing the strategies and investment choices based on data-driven business insights/ recommendations. The role is also responsible for finding new ways of ‘Data Visualization’ and championing research studies that give new insights and ideas to deliver better business growth.
Qualification: • MBA with a statistical or quantitative research background
Experience: • 5 to 7 years of analytics/ data-mining experience
Knowledge & skills:
• Demonstrable partnership and influencing skills
• Exceptional analytical skills, mastery of business intelligence
• Prior experience on running/ managing Brand Health Tracks is a must
• Hands-on modelling experience and exposure to analytical tools (like R, SAS) will be an advantage
• Experience of working in high-growth, performance focused environments is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously and lead large scale projects in fast paced matrix organizations
• Excellent executive presentation skills, ability to distil and present actionable information from complex research
• Strong and recent experience in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel), desirable
• Adequate knowledge of quasi-experimental and applied research design, including multivariate statistical analysis
• Agency management: Develop strong relationships with global and regional external analytics partner-agencies to ensure superior service and quality.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1----Analytics Framework
• Responsible for planning and implementing the business diagnostics processes and hypotheses generation frameworks, esp. based on multi-source data/ info banks (like Brand Track/ Ad-hoc Consumer Research/ Analytical models like MMM)
• Manage the design and development of analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviours that drive consumer-recruitment
• Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive optimal marketing spends
• Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modelling
• Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform
2-----Analytics Delivery
• Jointly work with marketing, commercial, customer marketing, online retail and business owners to identify information needs and develop reporting standards
• Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools/ framework based outputs
• Develop KPI dashboards
• Integrate web analytics into transactional and consumer analytics
• Leads and participates in strategy development initiatives along with the brand teams for new and existing business and innovations.
• Define problems, collect information, establish facts, undertake/ direct relevant analytical studies to draw valid conclusions and effectively influence business to make strategic & commercially savvy decisions.
• Contribute to the development and application of Best Practices for Marketing Effectiveness within USL/ Diageo-India
