Job Summary
The Walgreens' Policy Manager is responsible for the management of all policies used by Walgreens to govern and manage business operations in the United States and Puerto Rico and for the management, administration, and communications of the Walgreens Policy Governance Committee.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that all Walgreens policies are drafted consistently using the agreed standard policy templates and for checking the content of each policy with each responsible Walgreens Executive Operating Committee member, and assuring alignment among the Policy Governance Committee members. When necessary, he/she will draft the content of a policy, they shall do so using information and material supplied by the subject matter experts and/or the policy owner.Responsible for the daily management and administration of the Walgreens Policy Governance Committee, liaising as appropriate with the relevant Walgreens Executive Operating Committee member, policy owners, and the Walgreens Policy Committee members. In addition, this role is responsible for preparing and issuing agendas and meeting minutes for all meetings of the Committee, answering questions from Walgreens team members regarding the policy governance process, and working with the Committee Chair and members to establish plans for the periodic review of Walgreens policies.Responsible for supporting the communication and effective implementation within Walgreens of all new and revised policies to and by all affected team members and functions, identifying training needs, in conjunction with the policy owner and relevant training functions, as required, to help foster full compliance with policy requirements.Responsible for ensuring that all Walgreens policies are published only on agreed organizational intranet sites, that no policies are published on unapproved intranet sites and that no redundant or out of date policies are still published.Responsible for ongoing liaison with the WBA Policy Governance Manager to ensure that all WBA policies are reviewed within the agreed upon timeframe by the Walgreens Policy Governance Committee members and by all relevant Walgreens subject matter experts prior to WBA approval, that Walgreens policies are consistent with the requirements of any equivalent WBA policy, and for providing updates on the status of Walgreens policy management activities, as requested.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in policy management and/or controlled documentation OR a High School Diploma and at least 4 years of experience in policy management and/or controlled documentation.Experience drafting/writing policy.Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).Experience working with and/or leading highly-effective cross-functional teams and staff of all levels.Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at various levels of the organization, such as peers, superiors, internal/external stakeholders, business partners.:
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the pharmacy industry or similar highly regulated industry.Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
Salary Range$83100 - $132900 / Salaried
