Intel Foundry Services is looking for a highly collaborative, influential, and experienced Foundry Technology Platform Architect. This is a highly visible and critical role, part of IFS technology platforms and technical marketing organization, with frequent interaction with leadership of IFS, TD (technology development) organization, IFS engineering, eco-system development organization and foundry customer engineering organization. You will be working at the boundary of technology and business, shaping some of the most advanced technologies in the world.
You will deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and competitive offerings and enable development of competitive foundry technology platforms. Based on your understanding you will work to align with engineering teams, segment leaders, and management on technology definitions and roadmaps. You will manage and drive technology specs working with stake holders and ensure their development, deployment and manage change control impacting the technology platform.
You will play a critical role in the business development process by conducting detailed engineer-to-engineer product promotions and providing technical insights to aid in creation of marketing collaterals. You will also evangelize IFS solutions at industry conferences.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Contribute to the development of IFS technology platform for one of the leading process technologies starting from competitive definition of devices, interconnect, foundry base IP's addressing the market segments, packaging needs, reliability requirements, PVT's and sign-off conditions, PPACS (Power Performance Area Cost and Schedule) across market segments.Diligent competitive analysis, benchmarking and sensing of competitive product offerings and strengths/weaknesses.Working closely with engineering counterparts to align on product offerings and roadmaps.Contribute to the process market requirements document as part of foundry platform to define what technologies IFS must build to win for our target customers.Promoting technologies to customer engineers and management and to the industryCreating and implementing scalable processes, and systems for tracking industry movements and defining IFS technologiesSupporting creation of marketing collateral, providing input on value propositionConducting training for IFS business development and Intel sales and marketing teams

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in computer science/computer engineering/electrical engineering with over 9+ years of experience at a leading-edge foundry or as a member of the process technology team at a leading IDM or years managing technology platforms at leading fabless companies working with foundry is critical to be successful in this role.
8+ years as an expert in advanced process technology in the foundry space or technology platforms management at a fabless company
7+ years of experience in any of the below:
Experience in Logic Technology development and working with Foundries is a plus.Broad understanding of systems and application requirements (e.g., product architecture, key IPs, packaging, design services, ASIC, key standards etc.)Experience with PPA analysis across libraries, memory compilers and competitive benchmarking
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in computer science/computer engineering/electrical engineering or a Ph.D. in computer science//computer engineering/electrical engineering preferred.
Detailed knowledge of the foundry advanced technology competitive landscape

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $203,833.00-$325,999.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
