The Plant Manager will be a hands-on result driven leader overseeing the day- to-day functions in the areas of Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering.
Plant Manager Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and run optimum day-to-day plant operations to ensure resources are available as required to meet and exceed production needs.
Manage daily priorities that drive production schedules to meet inventory levels, cost, and quality goals.
Analyzes production and quality metrics to proactively implement improvements and solutions for issues that are identified.
Identify opportunities for improvement in the manufacturing plant, demonstrate return on investment, and oversee capital projects from start to finish.
Partner with equipment & tooling suppliers to secure new or upgraded manufacturing equipment.
Provides fiscal management for operations to ensure proper utilization of financial resources.
Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training of new team members.
Plant Manager Requirements:
Previous experience in Manufacturing Plant leadership
BS Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
Experience managing capital equipment projects
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving tools.
