We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team and complete a travel assignment in Iron River, Michigan. You will treat patients primarily in inpatient, but some outpatient cases should be expected.
Patient population: OP and IP mix, across lifespan peds through geriatric. Ortho (Post Op TKA, THA, TSA, etc), OP Neuro, etc. Hours: 8-hour days Monday - Friday. 7:00am - 3:30pm. If you enjoy the winter months in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, this is a great travel job for you.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.Evaluation and treatment, supervise PTAs in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
