Job Description
Creates bottomsup elements of chip design including but not limited to FET, cell, and blocklevel custom layouts, FUBlevel floor plans, abstract view generation, RC extraction and schematictolayout verification and debug using phases of physical design development including parasitic extraction, static timing, wire load models, clock generation, customer polygon editing, autoplace and route algorithms, floor planning, fullchip assembly, packaging, and verification. Troubleshoots a wide variety up to and including difficult design issues and applied proactive intervention. Schedules, staffs, executes and verifies complex chips development and execution of project methodologies and/or flow developments. Requires expansive knowledge and practical application of methodologies and physical design.
Qualifications
Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum QualificationsCandidate must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience in a reputed company or a Master's degree in Micro Electronics/VLSI with 5+ years of relevant experience in a reputed company.Preferred Qualifications:? VLSI circuits, design techniques, and sub-micron CMOS technologies? Designing high-speed, low-power digital circuits, floor planning, timing convergence and layout verification? Logic synthesis and automated place and route tools? Computer architecture and logic design fundamentals? Hardware description languages such as Verilog or System Verilog? Scripting skills using a programming language such as Perl, TCL, or Python

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
