　　As PhD Research Intern, you will report to either:

　　Research provides real-time solutions to advance Roblox's distributed systems, generative AI, and voice processing. Engine provides building blocks for creating immersive experiences with expressive avatars. Growth builds advanced machine learning models to solve user and content understanding. You Have: Pursuing a PhD or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field with thesis aligned to Roblox research areas Published and presented peer-reviewed articles Proficiency in C++, Python, and libraries for your domain You Will: Engage in research with Roblox as part of your PhD thesis during the internship and beyond on a case-by-case basis Research and develop improvements to push our technology forward Please note the Company may not be able to employ candidates who have United States work authorization related to certain U.S. visa categories, or support future H-1B sponsorship at this time.

　　For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown below are applicable to internship opportunities.
