Job Description
Carries out the integration of information, computer and clinical sciences to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval, management, and communication of related clinical data, information, and knowledge; assesses computer related processes/requirements and trains end-users accordingly. Recommends and implements approved system improvements and user training; recommends, maintains, and implements approved, related policies and procedures. Evaluates and recommends compatible, reliable equipment, software and consumables; provides clinical support to management and staff.
Job Responsibility
Defines, coordinates, implements, integrates, upgrades, and maintains the information and automation systems; troubleshoots and diagnoses information system problems and coordinates solutions.
Monitors and evaluates user performance and provides performance information to management.
Develops approved policies and procedures relating to the information system; develops and updates operations and procedures manuals.
Evaluates products and makes hardware and software purchase recommendations.
Serves as liaison with Information Systems and Procurement departments.
Coordinates data reporting and performs analysis necessary to support patient/clinical records, performance improvement, and departmental decision-making.
Participates in staff educational activities related to using and maintaining information systems; organizes work to meet departmental and hospital needs.
Designs and performs customized system queries and other functions related to analysis, operations and/or decision making specific to Clinical operations, as needed.
Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification
Bachelor of Pharmacy required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. PharmD preferred.
Current License to practice as a Pharmacist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
Preferred Skills:
Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred
Epic Experience highly preferred
Good to have - Hospital Pharmacy experience

The salary range for this position is $79,880-$136,340/year
