The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Mission System Integration Engineer to join a Mission Systems Engineering team in Phantom Works located in Berkeley, MO.

Phantom Works programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our customers.We need innovative engineers like you to help shape the future of military aviation by developing and integrating next generation Mission Systems capabilities as part of a very exciting and critically important new aircraft development effort (specific details of this program cannot be disclosed in this forum).
You will find yourself as a Mission Systems engineer on a team working a wide variety of avionics technologies, such as, communications, navigation, identification, RF/IR/Electronic Warfare (EW) sensors, core processing, crew station avionics, and stores management systems. You will have the opportunity to work on next generation open-architecture model-based designs and to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements
Supports the design and integration of open architecture Mission Systems solutions; such as, Open Mission Systems (OMS), and Open Communication Standard (OCS)
Collaborating with customers to ensure needs, requirements, and commitments are being met
Develops system and subsystem models in a model-based system engineering framework
Analyzes model, hardware, software, integration and test data for performance assessment
Analyzes supplier performance to ensure compliance with requirements
Supports the resolution of product integration issues
Researches advanced technologies for potential application to company business needs
Supporting cross-Boeing program mission systems interchanges for maximum leverage and reuse
Supports multi-discipline integration (i.e. power, weight, cooling, structure, aero, signature, operational analysis)
Supports proposal efforts, including authoring portion of technical volume and providing estimates of required work to accomplish scope
Performs test/demonstration planning and execution to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Possesses level of education & experience described in the "Typical Education & Experience" section of this job description
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the development/integration of Mission Systems capabilities
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $79,900 - $108,100
