Job Summary:

　　The AI Team Lead will be responsible for setup & managing the ML/NLP expert team of Innovation Center. Acting as one of the three R&D Council members of Innovation Center, the AI team lead is a critical role managing AI development strategy & delivery, thus enabling best landing solution from Innovation Center to address HCP and patient's unmet needs, such as medical content solutions, disease screening & assessment tools, etc.

　　Success will be met through seamless collaboration with multiple key stakeholders (including the teams across Innovation Center like Digital / Development / Operation / Liaison, Customer Innovation, Global Development Center for China Mobile Innovation, etc.), managing a strong mission-driven AI team with lightspeed high-quality AI deliveries.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Manage and setup the AI team of Innovation Center, and build the best of the industry mission team with Generative AI / NLP / ML / Computer Vision experts, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to drive innovation and maximize the potential of AI technologiesDesign, develop, and implement Generative AI models and NLP / Machine Learning algorithms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goalsConduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI , machine learning, and deep learning techniques, and identify opportunities to integrate them into customer products and servicesOptimize Generative AI & other machine learning / NLP models for improved performance, scalability, and efficiencyDevelop and maintain AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and evaluationContribute to the establishment of best practices and standards for AI development within Innovation CenterCultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation by organizing training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions focused on AI-related topicsDevelop a comprehensive strategic roadmap for applying AI to the industry, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectivesCollaborate with business leadership to identify high-impact AI projectsGenerate ideas and insights for new business models enabled by AIAct as a trusted advisor to C-Suite executives for AI implementation in their respective functional areasDrive and deliver innovative AI technology pilotsStay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing relevant to the healthcare industry through research and continuous learningCollaborate with external vendors, research institutions, and industry partners to leverage external expertise and foster AI innovation in the healthcare industryEnsure compliance with data privacy (PIPL), security standards, and company SOP governance when processing related data or apply related AI solutionsPartner with GTM business analysts, Digital architecture experts, Development team experts, Operation team together around design and delivery of product functionality

　　Education and Experience:

　　Master's or doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data scienceMinimum of 5 years of proven experience in leading AI initiatives and implementing AI solutionsStrong knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and predictive modelingProficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with AI frameworks and librariesExperience in handling and analyzing large-scale datasets, with expertise in data engineering, preprocessing, and visualization techniquesExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, strategic mindset, and business acumenExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Track record of successfully delivering AI projects on time and within budgetKnowledge of process mapping, project management methodologies, and regulated environments is highly desirableStrong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principlesFamiliarity with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, GCP, or AzureExperienced with advanced NLP techniques and toolsExcellent problem-solving skills , with the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative AI solutionsA deep understanding of Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Data Engineering (modern data pipelines and data streaming) landscapesHas experience of developing AI solutions landing in healthcare industryExperience with developing medical AI solution such as medical content generation / disease screening or assessment / CDSS is a plus
