A& M's Cost Optimization Program is a holistic, cross-functional approach that focuses on quickly identifying high impact opportunities for EBITDA and cash flow improvements across the entire cost structure. A& M's Cost Optimization focuses on driving significant improvements in cost structure by providing full transparency on cost and margin profiles, simplifying the business, streamlining the organization, and increasing efficiency of overhead spending. The Cost Optimization leadership team is focused on providing opportunities for leadership skill development, career advancement, training and exposure to challenging and diverse situations within the portfolio companies of our private equity clients.
Professional experience:
Leading teams through a time-sensitive project by structuring a performance improvement plan and managing the process through to completionIdentifying opportunities to significantly reduce cost structure by changing business leadership structure, sales and sales support staffing levels, business unit and functional management structure, and improvements to efficiency of all major back office functionsImplementing programs to reduce cost structure, including changes to roles and responsibilities, implementation of supporting processes, and execution of workforce reductionsWorking with clients directly to implement strategic and operational recommendationsHands on experience through consulting projects or engagement in several of the following areasDirect, indirect, and labor cost transparencySales & Marketing effectiveness, processes, and incentivesOperations management, productivity, and efficiencyOrganizational structure and effectivenessNon-labor cost efficiencyProcess improvement and performance management metrics / KPIs

Qualifications:
8 years of professional industry or consulting experienceExperience with implementing cost reduction programs, organizational restructure, and / or cost structure improvements is requiredRecent project leadership experiencesMBA from a top-tier school a PLUSFlexibility to travel up to 80% of the timeExperience working with PE and/ or PE relationships a PLUS (personal or professional)Experience working in both professional services and industry a PLUSDepth in a particular industry vertical a PLUS (e.g., industrial, business services, distribution, consumer products and retail)Open to all U.S. locations
