The People Specialist is a member of a globally diverse team providing guidance and assistance to geographically dispersed employees using the latest Salesforce technology. The successful candidate has strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail, outstanding time management and communication skills, a commitment to exceptional customer support, and the ability to build relationships at every level of the organization. This person must be comfortable dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is interested in gaining exposure to a variety of HR disciplines.
Provide guidance and direction to employees and managers regarding company HR policies and procedures that champion the company's vision, values, and culture.Recommend effective solutions for addressing workplace concerns and escalate as applicable to Employee Relations Managers for further investigation.Support business partners on employee inquiries by interpreting policies and providing consistent practicesMaintain accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities to ensure quality employee records and metrics.Collaborates with other centers of excellence such as Employee Relations, Benefits, and Talent Development.Routinely exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.Recommends or takes appropriate actions to address concerns as needed.Provides front-line support in the prevention, resolution, and referral of employee questions or concerns.Create and implement internal team procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Exercise sound judgment and expertise within broadly defined policies and practices.Consult and build relationships with all levels of operational management and ES team members.
Job Requirements
Experience consulting on human resources policies and processes with employees and managers.Bachelor's degree required.Prior experience supporting Return to Work Programs (and Australian Certification) is preferred. Prior experience as an HR Generalist idealPrior experience in a centralized HR department or shared services organization is preferred.Experience with Employment Relations (ER)Experience with case management systems and Workday preferred.Ability to manage a high volume of employee casesExperience applying company policies and proceduresStrong conflict resolution skillsAbility to work effectively in a virtual team environmentStrong professional verbal and written communications
