Our Fulfillment Center #7544 in Davenport, FL is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team of over 175 associates as the Facility People Partner. If you think strategically, are a natural leader, and want to make an impact, you will be right at home in our people-centric culture! One of your top objectives will be to enable strategies that promote retention and engagement. In this role, you will lead a broad range of HR functions to include but not limited to employee engagement, modernization and change management, training, and development, workforce planning and onboarding, employee relations and strategic HR initiatives. This role will bring to life in the FC the Global People Team's focus areas of Digital, Wellbeing, Inclusion, and Growth.
What you'll bring...
3+ years of progressive management experience in Human Resources, having successfully led a team of HR direct reports. You have a demonstrated passion for working with people while growing associates and leaders in your organization.Proven track record in driving digital initiatives and leveraging technology to meet business objectives.Experience in warehouse or retail field operations, supporting both hourly associates and salaried leaders, highly desired.Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.Demonstrated expertise training managers and associates.
What you'll do...
Defines the Human Resource (HR) strategy to support the assigned business area by understanding the strategic business goals and objectives; advising on the execution of organizational change initiatives; assessing the HR implications of various strategies; providing guidance to business leaders about HR issues; and focusing on HR planning and advice. Drives talent management for assigned area by implementing talent plans; monitoring workforce planning processes; acquiring and retaining key talent; implementing action plans for diversity initiatives; analyzing talent management data, tools, and systems; providing information to training and development to address current needs; driving performance management processes and initiatives; ensuring consistency in recognition program application; and delivering, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with compensation programs and policies. Drives the execution of Human Resources (HR) practices, systems, programs, and policies in the assigned area(s) by gathering and analyzing data about HR performance; ensuring consistent application of the HR policies and programs; aligning available resources; identifying execution and communication gaps; and providing advisory and consulting services for business partners. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Human Resources) and 2 years' HR Generalist experience (e.g., payroll, workers compensation, benefits) with at least one year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year's experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager or Walmart Human Resources Office Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates, including dealing with employment compensation / payroll processing, employee relations, recruiting / staffing, organizational planning, and/or training and development programs OR 3 years' experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees including one year of experience managing human resource processes (e.g., staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits).
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
