  Team Overview

  The Moody's Analytics Global People Business Partner team plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees and management. They serve as a bridge between the human resources department and the rest of the organization, ensuring that the needs of both are met in a balanced manner.The team is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR advice to managers, helping them understand and implement HR policies and procedures. They also play a key role in talent management, including recruitment, retention, and development strategies.Moreover, the People Business Partner team is instrumental in managing change within the organization, helping to shape internal policy, and fostering a positive work environment. They work closely with leadership to understand the strategic direction of the company, and subsequently align HR strategies and initiatives to support these goals.

  Overview of Role/Responsibilities

  The People Business Partner Internship will deliver real world work experience for the aspiring Human Resources professional. Through our internship, you'll gain valuable experience in a wide variety of business areas, but with a focus on Human Resources. Our opportunities include exposure to the fast-paced world of Human Resources and the critical aspects of our team - which supports all our departments throughout the company.

  As a People Business Partner Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our People Business Partner team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the strategic, operational, and administrative functions within a human resources department.

  Key Responsibilities will include:

  Assist People Business Partners in implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.Supporting the Employee Relations with managing and resolving ER cases.Participate in the data analysis process, helping to identify trends and propose proactive solutions for common HR matters.Assist in the coordination and execution of various HR projects such as performance management, onboarding, and learning and development initiatives.Work closely with other HR sub-functions such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Analytics.Participate in HR meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

  Qualifications:

  Rising Sophomore or Junior, working toward a Bachelor's degree. Majoring in Human Resources, Organizational

  Management, Organizational Psychology, Communications, Public Relations, or other business-related degree

  program is preferred.Graduation Date: Anticipated graduation date in 2025 or 2026Positive can-do attitude and ability to learn.Interpersonal skills and team orientated.Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.

  Training and Development

  During the approximate 10-week internship you will be provided Human Resources tools and training. You will also have access to online training modules to further develop your soft and technical skills. Internship Programming in addition to networking and community service opportunities, you'll also be partnered with team member for the duration of your internship to provide you with opportunities to understand more about Moody's and our corporate culture. You will also have the chance to connect with and learn from senior leaders and advisors as you take your first steps towards a successful professional career.

  For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
