The People Analytics team at Palo Alto Networks is dedicated to understanding and enhancing our most valuable asset, our employees. We focus on providing insights that connect people and performance with business outcomes, particularly in areas like recruiting, employee engagement, organizational health, and workforce planning. In our journey to achieve these goals, we are looking for a People Analytics Specialist, Employee Listening, to join our team.
As a People Analytics Specialist, Employee Listening, your role will be to spearhead our Employee Listening initiatives. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the People Team to develop and implement strategies and visions for understanding sentiment throughout the employee lifecycle. Your mission will be to gather and integrate insights that will inform decisions impacting employee engagement and satisfaction.
This role is based in our HQ-Santa Clara, CA.
Your Impact
Lead and execute Employee Listening strategies, aligning them with the broader goals of the People TeamPartner with stakeholders to identify and understand key employee concerns and sentimentsUtilize a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to gather, analyze, and interpret employee feedbackDevelop and maintain systems for continuous employee feedback, ensuring data is effectively captured and analyzedPresent findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into compelling narratives that drive action and changeCollaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data collection and analysis processesImplement and measure the effectiveness of employee listening initiatives, adapting strategies as needed based on feedback and resultsStay updated on the latest trends and best practices in employee listening and engagement, integrating innovative approaches into our strategies Qualifications Your Experience
Proven track record (3+ years) in an employee listening, engagement, or related roleExperience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, particularly in gathering and analyzing employee feedbackStrong analytical skills, with experience in tools such as R, Python, STATA, or SASAdvanced experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization toolsFamiliarity with SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Hive, SAP, or Redshift, etcDemonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a capacity for handling ambiguityExceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiencesA collaborative team player who is eager to contribute to the team's growth and share expertise in employee engagement and analytics Additional Information The Team

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $131,200/yr to $212,300/yr.
