Job Description:
Job Profile Summary This position will provide excellent customer service in all functional areas of their work which includes regular interaction with clients, employees, and the surrounding community. Peer recovery services are to be provided before, during and after treatment to help individuals connect with resources that support recovery. Peers are individuals who are willing to share their personal recovery experience, and often engage quickly with individuals to offer reassurance, reduce fears, answer questions, support motivation and convey hope.
Education Qualifications:
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Recovery Specialist.
In accordance with Minnesota Statues 245G.11 Subdivision 8.1; all employees must be free of chemical use problems for at least the one year immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Chemical use problems are defined as: Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements. Chemical use that has a negative impact on the staff member's job performance; Chemical use that affects the credibility of treatment services with clients, referral sources, or other members of the community; and Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
