Files Payroll Office documentation.Enters payroll related deductions and any master pay information into Dayforce (payroll/HR system).Verifies all master file information in payroll/HR system.Prepares processing of organization's payroll and collects payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.Assists in the reconciliation of payroll deposits, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions.Prepares payroll for transmission and audits before payroll is transmitted.Assures that payroll-related transactions are processed in compliance with external and internal policies.Assists with verifying 401K, pension, and employer match deductions and assure compliance.Assists with Transamerica 401K totals transmit information biweekly.Audit time cards for calculating, coding, or other errors.Participates in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department.Generates and verifies reports out of payroll system.Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes and deductions.Performs other duties as assigned.Those that display conscientiousness, personal accountability, dependability, team work, a safety mindset, and kindness are encouraged to apply!Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDExperience with Microsoft Office, specifically in ExcelExperience with Ceridian/Dayforce preferredMust be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.Desired Qualifications:Associates Degree.A minimum of 1 year of payroll experience.Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce.Demonstrated proficiency with Excel as well as 10 key adding machines.Knowledge of payroll tax laws.Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to handle tight deadlines.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills.We Offer:A highly competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and supplemental insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution and match, and generous paid time off (PTO) - up to 5 weeks in your first year!About SolvitaWe began in Dayton in 1964 as the region's first centralized blood bank.
