About the Role
12 is the number of countries in APAC supported by our People & Organization Service teams. Whether it's supporting the onboarding of a new-hire or personal growth or promotions, what we do allows our associates to deliver on their role and impact millions of patients. You will support the development of P&O processes, principles, and guidelines for a small client group, as well as coordinate data analysis and evaluation, in support of the implementation and/or maintenance of processes / services / continuous improvement in scope.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the country payroll processes and ensure the accuracy and timeliness.To ensure that SLAs are consistently met and high customer satisfaction.
• Lead and support for the transition period of project implementation (eg. payroll vendor change, payroll migration project, etc)
• Lead/ Contribute to projects in scope for Payroll Team to standardize across the countries. Ensure compliance in line with Data Privacy and Protection guidelines and other relevant legislation.
• Act as subject matter expert for Payroll processes and provide support for the transition period of project implementation (eg. payroll vendor change, payroll migration project, etc).
• Look after answering complex queries and transactions, which could not be solved by Hire-to-Retire team, as Tier 2.
• Deliver training to Payroll Specialist in order to increase their first contact resolution rate. Raise requests that cannot be resolved directly to the appropriate experts e.g Tier 3.
• Maintain and sustain the Knowledge Base and How2HR for countries in scope. To provide mentoring or training for onboarding purpose and perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager.

Role Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in HR/other related field is preferred
• 3-4 years of working experience in SSC environment is a must
• Multiple country HR regulations knowledge is preferred
• In-depth HR/SAP system and process expertise in a given process scope
• Work experience in virtual/remote teams and international environment/team/global company preferred
• Excellent English spoken and written. Fluency in Japanese is a must (JLPT N1 is a must for non-native speakers)
• Previous experience with Japan payroll is preferred
