Amazon seeks a Payroll Coordinator to apply great customer service skills in a fast paced environment to insure accurate timely results for over 2000 employees. Payroll is processed on a weekly and semi-monthly basis in multiple states and will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility; prepare a variety of statistical/financial reports; compile data and conduct research, and provide support to the Senior Manager as appropriate. Emphasis will be on detail, problem solving, and auditing.

Payroll Balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net)
Payroll Accounting support
Complex payroll queries & escalations
Vendor operations management
Point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others)
Projects: process improvement (Six Sigma), country expansions, new payroll setup
Excellent customer service, detailed, strong problem solving and proactive

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications
1+ years of finance experience
2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
Experience using data to influence business decisions
Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
